Three months after losing its government in Madhya Pradesh, the Congress appears to be in crisis in Rajasthan as Jyotiraditya Scindia has reached Delhi with 25 MLAs. According to an India Today report, the state leadership has informed both Sonia and Rahul Gandhi about the situation. "Sonia Gandhi will discuss the matter and all have to work together, whatever the differences." Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said yesterday that the BJP is trying to grab power in the state by bribing MLAs in Madhya Pradesh.
Ashok Gehlot said that the BJP also made similar efforts in the recent Rajya Sabha elections. Meanwhile, the BJP has rebuffed the allegations and accused Ashok Gehlot of trying to divert attention from those within the Congress, and his government's failure to respond quickly to the coronovirus epidemic. .
For the last 24 hours, @SachinPilot , normally the most accessible of leaders, has not been picking up phones of journalists. Sure sign that a Rajasthani thali is being cooked. Chef is in Delhi, kitchen is in Jaipur. We wait to see how many MLAs are served! Watch this space!— Rajdeep Sardesai (@sardesairajdeep) July 12, 2020
All eyes are on Sachin Pilot, who according to multiple reports arrived in Delhi with several MLAs on Sunday, as Rajasthan politics becomes a big talking point. https://t.co/PcYVmON73N— Twitter Moments India (@MomentsIndia) July 12, 2020
